Big and Bold Choices
Making confident choices (or creating the appearance of confident choices) is essential to improv. Second-guessing yourself or your scene partner can slow down or halt a scene. This workshop emphasizes making bold offers and supporting others’ offers to quickly establish scenes and discover the fun held within it.
Week 1 will focus on reducing hesitation and making (or faking) big and clear choices.
Week 2 will focus on quickly supporting offers and escalating the fun/interesting aspect of the scene.
Where: Kick Comedy Theater at 4010 Pennsylvania Avenue, Kansas City MO. Located in between the Green Room Burgers and Beer and the Westport Coffehouse.
Who: This workshop is for intermediate and advanced improvisors. Attendees must have completed through Level 301 at the KCIC Training Center or have equivalent improv experience. For questions if this workshop is right for you, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
