KC Improv Co is a professional comedy troupe based in Kansas City. Since 2000 we have performed corporate and other private shows, as well as shows for the public throughout the area and the country. Now you can catch a hilarious show every week at the Kick Comedy Theater in Westport. This comedy club features our company of players, our training center students, guest troupes, and occasionally stand-up comedy.

KCIC specializes in improvised comedy — comedy that’s invented on the spot, based on audience suggestions. We even pull willing volunteers from the audience up on stage and involve them in the show. If you like “Who’s Line Is It, Anyway?” and Second City, you’ll love our shows.

Our shows can be customized to any theme, and we have lampooned ice capades shows, political debates, westerns, game shows, the NCAA basketball tournament, beauty pageants, and more. Further, our shows range from PG to PG-13 to R in style. We have performed in sketches, videos, commercials, and other pre-planned comedy, in addition to our specialty: high-energy improv comedy that is performed artfully, and pleases every audience.
